As experienced Scouts, Venturers are charting their own course towards adventures that they plan and carry out.

As experienced Scouts, Venturer Scouts are charting their own path and more emphasis is placed on personal development and growth and exploring real-world experiences that prepare them for future success. Venturer Scouts might be planning, preparing and embarking on a multi-day paddling excursion, travelling across the globe to meet other Scouts as part of an international jamboree or instilling their skills and know-how to assist younger Scouting sections.
Venturers plan and decide on their regular meeting cadence, and generally share details and planning of those meetings directly.
